The Sabine County Chamber of Commerce has been the voice of Hemphill’s business community since 1977. But their website wasn’t keeping pace. The design had aged well past its useful life — visually dated, hard to navigate, and carrying none of the credibility that nearly five decades of community work had earned them.
The problems ran deeper than aesthetics. Because the backend wasn’t built for non-developers, staff updates meant either wrestling with outdated tools or waiting on outside help. Events weren’t getting posted. Member listings were stale. The site had become more of a liability than an asset.
Search visibility was another gap. Hemphill businesses looking for Chamber support, and residents looking for local business listings, weren’t finding the site. For an organization whose whole purpose is connecting the community, being invisible online was a real problem. They came to MasseyMedia ready for something that would actually work.
We designed a clean, modern site that gives the Sabine County Chamber the online presence it deserves — one that staff can actually manage, members can actually use, and search engines can actually find. Every decision was built around the Chamber’s real job: connecting the Hemphill business community.
The Sabine County Chamber of Commerce has served the Sabine County, Texas business community since 1977. For nearly five decades, the Chamber has worked to connect local businesses, attract economic development, and strengthen the ties that make Sabine County a good place to live and work.
From ribbon cuttings to annual events to member advocacy, the Chamber is the hub of commercial life in Sabine County — and now has a website that reflects that role.
More real East Texas work from MasseyMedia.
The City of Huntington's previous web vendor left their site unmaintained and falling apart. As the city's longtime IT provider, MasseyMedia stepped in with a complete redesign — clean government site, department pages, staff-managed news, and local SEO built in.
View Case StudyThe Texas Forest Country Partnership had spent six decades building regional economic development across Deep East Texas, but its website didn't tell that story. MasseyMedia rebuilt it from the ground up — a clean, modern site with an interactive 12-county site explorer, investor and board sections, a staff-managed news feed, and local SEO so site selectors and businesses can actually find the region online.
View Case StudyA brand-new event venue needs a website that sells the room before anyone walks through the door. The Warehouse, a restored 9,000-square-foot historic venue north of downtown Lufkin, came to MasseyMedia with no online presence and a launch to hit. We built a photo-forward site that captures the space's industrial character, walks couples and corporate planners through wedding and event packages, and gets The Warehouse found by people searching for venues in East Texas.
