The Challenge

Greene Recycling picks up baled cardboard for more than 500 business locations across the country, from single stores to national chains like Walgreens and Crate & Barrel. Its website told a much smaller story. The old site was a five-page WordPress theme with a one-word page title, no meta description, and a homepage that led with rebates, a program that only pays out for large, qualifying volumes.

Christy Greene, who has led the company since 2020, wanted a site that looked like the national operation Greene had become. That meant leading with reliable pickup and flexible scheduling, giving every service its own page, and showing businesses in every state that Greene could pick up from them, not just the 13 states with established routes.

The brief also had to hold up as the business changed during the build. Over a week of review rounds, the team refined how balers, compactors and roll-offs are described: Greene sells and rents equipment and sets up installation, and its roll-offs come in 20- and 30-yard sizes for cardboard and debris. Every one of those details had to read the same way on all 150 pages.

What We Built

We rebuilt greenerecycling.com in WordPress and Elementor Pro around five homepage design concepts. Christy chose the bold, industrial “Freight” direction: heavy condensed type, full-width photography of trucks, bales and equipment, and a green-and-steel palette pulled from the logo.

The new site has a page for every way a business works with Greene: bale pickup, recycling equipment, roll-off rentals, 40-yard compactors, tractor trailer service, recycling brokerage and commercial bulk item pickup. Five industry pages cover retail, grocery, warehouses, restaurants and manufacturing. An Areas Served section adds a page for each of the 50 states, with a state map and city list Greene’s team edits from simple WordPress fields.

Every page carries its own SEO title, meta description and keyword set, written to the client’s own keyword plan. The service pages carry Service schema, the FAQ page is written to answer the questions AI search tools pull from, and a shared quote form on every service page captures location, service, material type and estimated volume. The site launched in October 2026 and scores 99 on desktop PageSpeed and 100 for SEO in Lighthouse.

A Page for Every State

Fifty state pages with a map and city list, so a warehouse in Ohio or a store in Oregon finds Greene for its own state, not just Texas.

One Quote Form, Every Page

A single quote form, saved once as an Elementor template, runs on every service page and asks for location, service, material and volume up front.

Built for Search and AI

Unique titles and descriptions on all 150+ pages, Service schema on every service page, and an FAQ written for AI search answers.
