ADA Website Audit for Every Kind of Site
Our ADA website audit tests your site against WCAG 2.1 AA and lists every barrier we find, ranked by risk, with a plan of attack to fix it. The scan is a flat $500, and if you hire us to make the fixes, that $500 comes off your final invoice. We scan business, government, school, healthcare, and nonprofit sites, whether we built them or not.
What the $500 ADA Website Audit Includes
Free checkers catch roughly a third of real problems, so every ADA website audit pairs a full-site scan with hands-on keyboard and screen reader testing. Results are measured against WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Every Scan Includes:
-
An automated scan of every page we can crawl
-
Keyboard testing of menus, forms, and sign-up or payment flows
-
Screen reader checks on your highest-risk pages
-
Contrast, alt text, heading, and form label review
-
A list of linked PDFs that need their own review
-
Every issue tied to the WCAG criterion it fails
-
Issues ranked by severity and legal risk
-
A plan of attack with a fixed price to remediate
From Scan to Fixed in Four Steps
The report from your ADA website audit is yours to keep either way. Most clients hand the fixes to us, and that's where the credit comes in.
Order Your Scan
Send your site address and a little context. We confirm scope and invoice the flat $500.
Scan & Test
We crawl the full site, then test key pages by hand with a keyboard and screen reader.
Report & Plan of Attack
You get every issue in plain English, ranked by risk, with a fixed price to reach WCAG 2.1 AA.
Fix It, With Credit
Hire us for the full remediation and your $500 is credited against the project invoice.
ADA Audits for Government, Schools, and Business
We scan any public-facing site on any platform: WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, custom builds, and the vendor-hosted systems many cities and counties use.
Government & Public Sector
Cities, counties, and special districts fall under ADA Title II. The DOJ's web accessibility rule requires WCAG 2.1 AA by April 26, 2027 for entities serving 50,000+ people and April 26, 2028 for smaller ones. See our government website design.
Schools & Colleges
Public districts and colleges fall under the same rule, and many also answer to Section 508. We scan district, campus, and athletics sites. More on school website design.
Private Businesses
Stores, restaurants, and service companies are public accommodations under Title III, and demand letters use WCAG 2.1 AA as the yardstick. If fixes aren't enough, consider a website redesign.
Healthcare, Finance & Nonprofits
We audit medical and dental, bank and credit union, and church and nonprofit sites.
ADA Website Audit FAQ
How much does an ADA website audit cost?
A flat $500 for the scan, testing, issue report, and plan of attack. If you hire us to make all the changes, the $500 is credited toward your project invoice.
Do you scan government websites?
Yes. We audit city, county, special district, and school district sites against WCAG 2.1 AA, the standard the DOJ's Title II rule requires.
Can you audit a site you didn't build?
Yes. Most sites we scan were built by someone else, on every major platform.
How is this different from a free online checker?
Free checkers can't tell whether a menu traps keyboard users or a screen reader skips your form errors. Our ADA website audit adds that hands-on testing.
Will the audit make my site ADA compliant?
The audit finds the problems; the fixes bring the site in line with WCAG 2.1 AA. No one can promise you'll never get a demand letter, but an audit plus remediation is your strongest position.
Do I have to hire you to make the fixes?
No. The report is yours either way.
Does fixing accessibility help SEO?
Yes. Alt text, clean headings, and descriptive links help search engines too, so the work overlaps with technical SEO.
What keeps the site accessible after the fixes?
New content can reintroduce problems. Our website maintenance plans keep accessibility in check.
