In December, we hosted a huge giveaway on Facebook, with the grand prize of an Amazon Kindle Fire. Rebecca Sosa was the lucky winner! We also had a company goal of reaching 150 Likes for the MasseyMedia Facebook Page, which we more than accomplished. We were really excited about that! Lauren recently spoke at the Nacogdoches Chamber of Commerce Business Bootcamp on January 24th. MasseyMedia, Inc. is proud to present the official website for the George H. Henderson, Jr. Exposition Center. We were honored to be able to work on this project with our friends at the Expo Center. Home of many important Lufkin events and traditions, the George H. Henderson, Jr. Expo Center is one of the key elements of the city of Lufkin.

This new website showcases many community-oriented features. The calendar on the Expo Center’s website is integrated with the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce calendar, which allows sharing between calendar events. Since both websites utilize this shared data, they are certain to always have the most recent updates and information about the Expo Center and its events. Additionally, the Expo Center site employs data from the Lufkin Convention and Visitors Bureau. This allows the Expo Center to show restaurant, lodging, and attraction information to website visitors. As the CVB updates data, those updates are automatically carried over to the Expo Center website as well.

This website serves as the primary resource for the Expo Center, including details about facilities, grounds, and events. Visitors to the site can quickly and easily navigate to find exactly what they need. By using third-party tools such as Flickr, the website also presents updated photos of the Expo Center and events. A customized MasseyMedia administration system allows for updates to be made on the backend of the website, which means our friends at the Expo Center will be able to continuously update the website with the most current news, photos, and information.
